We are a long-standing Building Service Contractor, looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an operations supervisor for a single site location. The responsibilities of the supervisor include training and supervising employees, reducing operational costs, monitoring the compliance of their accounts with operational policies, and keeping up to date with the progress of administrative duties. - Shifts Available: Monday-Friday (2:00pm-10:30pm)
- Salary: $60,000/yr
Responsibilities:
- Directs and oversees custodial management staff to ensure quality housekeeping of assigned facilities.
- Communicate effectively with customer contacts to provide timely and excellent customer service!
- Involved in the interview and hiring decisions of newly on-boarded staff.
- Helps to assure all members of their team follow established safety practices (OSHA) and all site Standard Operating Procedures.
- Performs audits and inspections utilizing electronic data collections.
- Establishes areas of responsibility and follows up to ensure that assignments are completed in accordance with procedures and instructions.
- Review, maintain and inspect equipment requirements per account.
- Manage payroll, budgeting, and supply order costs for assigned facilities.
- Assist other site managers and Regional managers in the management of established guidelines and contracts.
- Improving the work environment and operations of your department and the organization.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree (AS in related field preferred, i.e., Hospitality, Operations Management, Business Management) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a Managerial Role.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in implementing operational processes.
- Good working knowledge of operational procedures and policies.
- Strong project management, administrative management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
